This post was sponsored by Nature’s Logic. We did receive free food for helping share our thoughts about why we believe Nature’s Logic is a quality pet food. A girl and her Poms only shares information we think is relevant for our readers. Nature’s Logic is not responsible for the content of this blog post.
We were so excited to get the opportunity to review Nature’s Logic! I’ve been feeding their 100% Natural raw food as part of the Pom’s rotation for a few years, so when they reached out to me to share about their products I jumped at the chance!
Why am I a fan of Nature’s Logic? Let me count the ways…
- There are NO synthetic vitamins or minerals! Literally NONE! No worrying about country of origin of different vitamins, no worrying about if they’ve added too much of any vitamins (I’m looking at you, Copper!) because the food is complete WITHOUT them!
- It’s free of everything you shouldn’t be feeding anyways- MSG, hydrolyzed proteins, corn, wheat, rice, soy, tapioca, peas, potatoes, artificial colors, flavors or synthetic vitamins.
- Nature’s Logic is also grain and gluten free!
So… what’s in it? Let’s check out the ingredient panel for the food they sent us to try- 100% Natural Canine Beef Feast.
Beef, Beef Broth, Beef Liver, Sardines, Porcine Plasma, Montmorillonite Clay, Herring Oil (Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols), Egg Shell Meal, Brewers Dried Yeast, Dried Apple, Dried Apricot, Alfalfa Meal, Dried Artichoke, Dried Blueberry, Dried Broccoli, Dried Carrot, Dried Chicory Root, Dried Cranberry, Dried Kelp, Dried Parsley, Dried Pumpkin, Dried Rosemary, Dried Spinach, Dried Tomato, Rosemary Extract.
Ninety percent of the can is animal ingredients! That’s pretty amazing. The other ingredients have been thoughtfully chosen to make the food complete without having to rely on artificial vitamins and minerals, not just because they look good on the ingredient panel.
So, how did Nature’s Logic go over with the Poms? They DEVOURED it! I could barely get a picture of Oliver with the bowl before he jumped up at it and stole it from my hands! Parker, Rachel and Oliver give Nature’s Logic 6/6 paws up for taste!
Now, the other end… Unlike most canned foods, which make them poop approximately one zillion times per day, their poop per day count on Nature’s Logic canned Beef Feast was similar to their regular raw food diet. My guess is because unlike other canned foods, they don’t have the added ingredients that would equal a higher PPD (poops per day) count!
Overall, Nature’s Logic has been- and will remain- an important part of the Poms diet! We can’t say enough good things about it!
